Renowned selector and producer Man Power makes it official with DFA on his new single, Flashing Lights / Acid God.

After remixing and collaborating with label stalwart Juan Maclean, Geoff Kirkwood has teamed up with power vocalist and writer Amy Douglas for two absolute dance floor burners. The pair met through Juan, who provided a track featuring Amy to a charity compilation released by Geoff’s label, Me Me Me, in 2018. “Flashing Lights” rolls brightly along, Amy’s vocals adding an undercurrent of anticipation to the intoxicating humidity of the instrumental. “Acid God” is straightforward in its chugging ecstasy, with a melody that builds and builds as Amy makes a very compelling case for the benefits of psychedelia.

Alluring but functional, both tracks will have you moving into the late hours, and in case you’re looking to smooth things out a bit, we’ve also included the instrumental versions. Let’s get weird.
